Email subscribers are probably one of the most important parts of any blog and niche website.
Subscribers are your visitors, friends, and customers. If you have some subscribers you probably know how important they are for your business.
When I first started my blog my Subscribers number was 0, and now 2 years later, it’s close to 15000.
It’s really hard to manage all those people, and you need some great powerful tool to keep them all together in one place. I will show you how I started gathering my subscribers and what service do I use in order to manage them.
How Important your Subscribers really are?
My blog is about making money online, best marketing tools online and it’s just me helping internet marketing newbies to start with something and make some money online, with nice simple tutorials.
My visitors are mostly newbies who can’t figure out everything about some topics from complicated tutorials on other Blogs and Youtube tutorials and when I explain something in few easy steps it’s really easy to figure it out for them.
So if they like my articles they can Subscribe to my newsletters and I send them 1-2 emails per week, mostly new methods and some useful reviews for them.
I can also send them some offers and affiliate links and if they buy something I can get some commission from that.
My subscribers list is growing pretty fast, and 15000 people subscribed to my newsletter in the last 3 years.
If you can manage 15000 people and send them some offers, products.. and if they trust you some of them will buy that product and you will get your commission.
So Subscribers are probably the most important thing for some website, and if you want to start building your Email list you need some email marketing service.
What is AWeber and How can this Service help me?
If you know nothing about Email Marketing services like Aweber I will explain it to you in a few seconds.
So if you put some Newsletter popup, or widget on your website and if some visitor like your website articles, they will subscribe for more articles and you can’t manage your subscribers by yourself, that’s why you need some service like AWeber.
So basically, you will connect your blog with Aweber and your subscribers will be stored on your AWeber account.
You can have separate subscribers list there, you can send welcome emails to your subscribers, you can send double opt-ins…
AWeber is, in my opinion, the best email marketing service online, and I will show you why.
I don’t say this because I used AWeber only, and I liked it, no, it’s because I used 4 different email services and one of them is AWeber, and it’s my favorite one.
Click here to visit the AWeber website.
When I started building my subscribers base, I used Mailchimp, and after the first month I realized that I need something more, and better performing than that. I tried few more free and paid services, and 2 months ago I found some article about AWeber on some internet marketing blog, so I tried AWeber, it was free for 30 days, so, if you don’t like it you can just quit using it and try something else.
What Do I like About AWeber?
AWeber is an old company and their support is great (like 10+), I sent them a few emails and their response time was like 1-2 hours, so 5+ for their email support.
I like their website design, everything is clear and you can access everything in 2 seconds, you can find tons of tutorials for newbies, so you can start managing your subscribers really easy.
Their mobile apps are great, you can use their AWeber mobile ad for analytics and tracking features and Atom App which lets you upload things from your mobile devices, and it also lets you access and modify subscriber lists on your account.
I like their 30 days free trial, so you can basically use it 30 days, and if you don’t like it you can choose some other service.
If you send few newsletters per week you need a huge hosting space for all images that you upload with your mails, but don’t worry, AWeber will give you unlimited image hosting for all users, and you can also use 7000+ free photos from AWeber gallery with your newsletters.
I really like their autoresponder feature, it’s really simple to set up and it’s pretty popular marketing tool.
Campaign creation is really easy, even for a 100% newbies because you will get 700+ free templates to choose from.
One more feature that can help you a lot are AWeber video mails, so you can upload your own video in a newsletter, or you can host it on Youtube and just insert it with your photos and text in your emails.
You can also create great signup forms for your website, all templates are free to use for all members.
List segmentation is great too, you can segment your list by month, name, year, place…
Split testing is one more feature that’s free for all users, and you can A/B Split test your subscribers in order to get the best results from your mails.
AWeber will provide you your own API, so you can use it for your own apps and programs on your website.
Aweber is great for one more thing, you can integrate it with popular CMS like WordPress and Drupal.
You can also integrate it with Paypal, Google Analytics and some e-commerce platforms like Shopify and Magento. Social integration is great too, because you can create amazing signup forms that you can post directly to Facebook and Twitter.
When I visited their site I expected to see some 3 figures price because so many people told me that they are the best in this job.
But I was wrong, and I was surprised when I saw ‘First month free’ on their homepage, so I signed up for my AWeber account and I uploaded my Subscribers database there, because I already had something like 400 subscribers.
AWeber is a pretty cheap service, so you will get first month free, and after that you can choose 19$, 29$ and 49$ plan, it totally depends on your subscribers number.
19$ plan will be pretty much great for newbies so you can start with 30 days free trial and then you can try this 19$ plan.
