The Internet is huge, and there are a lot of scammers online, and you should always try to avoid them.
When I first started working online, I fell for some minor scams too, I used to work with PTC sites, I invested in some stupid stocks, and I bought some fake coaching programs too.
I am here today to help you avoid these 4 most common online scams, if you are a newbie you probably already fell for some of these scams.
PTC Sites
I mentioned this thing before and you can read my full story about PTC sites in this article.
PTC sites are one of the main reasons why newbies quit working online and lose their motivation.
These sites will suck your whole day for something like $2, and if you are working with these sites long enough, you will be so angry because you spent 50 hours per week clicking on some stupid ads and you only made $9, and once you make $20 and you are ready to withdraw money they just don’t pay you.
So 90% of people who try working with PTC sites are convinced that making money online is a 100% scam and they just can’t believe in any other method afterward.
Never start working on PTC sites, if you have some money you can create one, because the only people who are profiting from PTC sites are their owners.
Trading Stocks and Investing as a Beginner
This is also one of the worst things you can do if you are an IM newbie. I noticed some interesting promotions and ads from Stock trading websites, they will give you free $50 or $100 coupon to start trading on there.
Once you register your account on some Trading website you will have to give them your card number and everything else, so you can start trading stocks, well, most of the newbies will start with this because they want some easy money and a huge profit possibility.
There are a lot of tricks they can apply to you in order to make you spend more and more money through their site.
One important thing: You can’t become a successful Stock trader overnight, there are people who can make tons of money trading stocks, but they spent years and decades learning how to invest, and they read tons of information every day about companies they invest in.
Money Making Systems
There are 10000+ money making methods online and 99% of them are scams. You will often find these systems on some ad network sites like Adf.ly and you will get some of them in your E-mail.
They will often offer you a $4000 per day method by working from home and they will guarantee you a refund in 30 days if you are not satisfied with their product.
First thing first, you can never ever start making $4000 or more per day if you “just” read some book, and these systems are mostly divided into 2 price groups.
The first group will offer you a system for $2000 so you may think it’s some kickass system because their price is so high, and they will often advertise these systems and sell 1000s of them and they will just delete everything connected with this system, and they will disappear so you can’t get your refund and you can’t sue them.
The second group is the low price system, they will sell you a $99 system and they will guarantee you a $10 per day income, so you may think it’s cheap because you can’t make that much money.
They will advertise it, they will get tons of sales and they will delete this site and system and they will disappear so you can’t trace them, and no one will sue them for $99. So they can use this system more often, using the different product name.
How to recognize these systems?
Almost always, they are selling these systems using their own website, never using some popular networks like Clickbank or JVZoo.
Why is that so?
If they are selling some get rich quick scheme on Clickbank for example, they are taking a risk because they can get sued. Clickbank will take their personal details, and they have to give them in order to start selling, so when you ask for a refund, you will do submit your refund request through Clickbank, if they can’t refund customers Clickbank will sue them for fraud.
Promoting Scam Products
There are tons of products you can promote on the Internet and some of them will offer you better commissions and better conditions so you can easily fall for these scams.
Scam websites can be found in PPI, PPC, PTC, and CPA industry, so if you are working with these methods you should be careful because you can lose money and your precious time promoting these scams.
These scam products are mostly well designed in order to attract affiliates, and most of them will attract you with Instant approval.
Popular CPA or PPI sites will maybe reject you and you will try some alternative, so you will find this Instant approval site, so you will start working for them.
After spending months and months trying to make some dimes with these sites you will find out only one thing:
When it comes to payout they will ban you and you will never get your money.
How to recognize scam websites?
One of the easiest ways to find out if some site is scam is to check their website age.
You can click here to visit Domain Age Checker Tool.
Scanner will show you domain age, and if this product website is younger than 1 year, avoid them, you should always tend to promote old and legit sites.
They can sometimes trick you, they just buy some old domain and they create their site on it, so if they buy a domain from 2011, this scanner will show you that their website is 10 years old.
Google Search!
Before you use some website you should always check it on Google.
For example, if you use some XCV Company, you can just Google: “XCV Company Scam” and you will get your results.
Why is this the most reliable method in detecting website scams?
It’s reliable because if this company scammed some other people before, they probably wrote about this scam on some Forums, Blogs and you will be able to find these articles.
These are some of the most common ways to get scammed by trying to make money online, and I will share some more articles like this in the future because there are a lot of people who are 100% newbies so it’s really easy to manipulate them.
But you shouldn’t feel guilty if you fell for some minor scams, everyone was a newbie once and it’s important to recognize these scams when you see them in the future.

What you stated on these 4 scams are true. I got scammed several times through binary options trading and affiliate marketing. Especially in trading, I lost my money as some brokers and robots/signals were faked. Even in online marketing, with too much tutorial and upsells, money was lost with no results. However, all these scams were a lesson to me.
I’m so grateful I was able to reach your site and subscribe to your newsletter. You are a great mentor! I appreciate your honesty in helping newbies. For me to earn money online now is to start your tutorial from uploading porn sites. I trust what you were saying that it will make handsome money. Seems not much of an investment too. Thanks so much for your help!
